Hydro-Québec is the most recent of the major Canadian utilities such as BC Hydro, Epcor, TransAlta, Ontario Power Generation, and New Brunswick Power to utilize ETAP software for electrical design, maintenance, and operation of their electrical power systems. ETAP software provides a platform for comprehensive <a title="Power System Analysis" href="http://www.etap.ca/" target="_self">power system analysis</a> including the recently standardized Arc Flash Hazard analysis CSA Z462.</p>
<p>ETAP’s integrated features like the arc flash multi-scenario analyzer, energized work permits, and built-in label printing provide a cost effective implementation of arc flash safety programs by giving engineers, safety managers, and electricians all the tools they need to get the job done in one easy to use application.</p>

In addition, the Standard elaborates on labeling, language, safety and additional Canada-specific issues.
